Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we are fully insured. Titan Tree Care carries both liability and workers' compensation insurance.
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.
In most cases, you won’t need a permit to remove a tree on your own property. However, there are exceptions. For example, if you reside in a historic district or if the tree is protected by an ordinance, you may need to secure a permit. It’s always recommended to check with your local code enforcement office before proceeding.
We prefer to meet with you before beginning work to ensure that we all agree on the work to be done and the desired outcome. We also enjoy meeting our customers!
However, if you’ve already had an agreement with our arborist and are unable to be present while the work is being done, we can proceed with your approval – and as long as we have access to where the tree is growing. This includes being able to enter your property if you are in a gated community or in an area that requires a code to enter.
During any form of tree work, we always do our best to protect your property. However, on certain lawns, it is occasionally necessary to employ heavy machinery. In certain circumstances, we take special precautions to reduce the impact. During the initial site visit, our estimator will go over probable issues with you so you know what to expect.
We love animals! We will make every effort to work around your pets and keep them safe. However, we do ask that you keep them away from the work area for their safety and ours. Some animals may find the noise and activity of tree work to be stressful, so we recommend keeping them indoors or in a quiet area of your property during the work.
Underground sprinklers, drain lines, invisible fences, septic fields, and underground wires should all be identified and mapped.
We hold no liability for any damage to underground structures during the course of the job unless the underground lines and structures are sufficiently and accurately documented or mapped and that information is supplied to our personnel before work begins.
If you need assistance in locating your underground lines, you can contact your local utility companies. They will often come out and mark the location of their lines for free.
We clean up all debris and messes after each job unless you request otherwise. We can haul it away or leave it for you to use as mulch, depending on your preference. We take pride in leaving our clients’ properties clean and tidy.
There are many variables that affect tree work. In general, we need to see the tree before each job to determine, among other things, the tree’s:
- Size
- Health
- Species
- Location
- Surroundings
- Closeness to power lines, utilities, buildings, roads, etc.
Once we can see the tree for ourselves, we can determine what kind of equipment is needed, which crew can most efficiently do the job, how much work needs to be done, and more.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with our work. If any questions or concerns arise after we’ve left, please don’t hesitate to call us. We’ll be happy to clarify anything with you, and in certain cases, come back out and take a look.
We hope this has been helpful. For any other questions, please reach out today. We’re always happy to help!
