Fertilization

If you have a garden on your property, you likely already understand the importance of keeping your plants healthy and watered. But did you know that there is more to proper plant and tree care than just watering and adding store-bought fertilizer? Fertilization is an important treatment that can help improve the overall health of your garden.

WHAT IS FERTILIZATION?

There are several reasons why fertilization is important for plants. One reason is that it helps to promote growth. By adding nutrients directly to the soil, plants are able to grow more quickly and vigorously. Additionally, fertilization can help to improve the overall health of plants by increasing their resistance to insects and diseases.

WHY FERTILIZE?

Fertilizing your plants is vital because it helps to ensure that they are getting the nutrients they need to grow. Plants need a variety of nutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, in order to thrive. Without these nutrients, plants will be stunted in their growth and may even die.

At Titan Tree Care, we specialize in fertilization services using only the highest quality products, and our experienced technicians are knowledgeable in proper application techniques. With our services, your garden can experience the following advantages:

  • IMPROVED PLANT GROWTH

  • INCREASED RESISTANCE TO INSECTS AND DISEASE

  • IMPROVED DRAINAGE

  • IMPROVED FERTILITY OF THE SOIL

  • GREATER WATER RETENTION

  • REDUCED NEED FOR INSECTICIDES AND HERBICIDES

WHAT ARE SOIL AMENDMENTS?

In addition to fertilizing plants, soil amendments is another important aspect of gardening. Soil amendment is the process of improving the physical structure of the soil to make it more hospitable for plant growth. This can be done through various methods, such as tilling, aeration, composting, and adding organic matter.

There are several benefits to soil amendments. One advantage is that it helps improve drainage. If your garden’s soil is too dense, water will not be able to penetrate it and reach the roots of your plants. This can lead to problems such as root rot and fungal diseases. Soil amendments can also help to improve the overall fertility of the soil. By adding organic matter, you are increasing the number of nutrients that are available for plants to uptake.
